The purpose of your first chiropractic visit in our Chatswood office is where the foundations to determine how we can best help you.

In our quest to discover how we can help you get better fast, we we will be performing unique and specific chiropractic tests to determine your current state of spinal health. (none of which are painful) We may also need to ask questions to help us best determine what has lead to your current state of health so we can avoid relapses in the future.

In short, we will leave no stone unturned to determine how Arnold Family Chiropractic can help you regain optimal health. So please expect your first visit with us to be very thorough. Once we have completed our chiropractic testing, we will need time to analyze the results and then put together the very best for you.

Our Chiropractic Process

We will email you a detailed chiropractic history form so you can give us all the relevant background information we need to help you get better quickly. Once you are in the Chatswood office, one of the chiropractor's team members will go through your history with you.

Once we have a thorough understanding of you, your current health status and what your desired goals are, we will begin the chiropractic examination.

First:

We will visually look for any postural problems in a unique way like you have never seen before. This test will be performed in seconds and nine times out of ten will show us exactly where your problems are at and how our unique chiropractic care may help you.

Second:

We perform a computerised gait analysis using the revolutionary TOG gait scan. This advanced gait analysis system is engineered to diagnose foot problems and produces 2D and 3D images of your feet.

I am often asked why do we assess foot function when the symptoms are in another area like the neck or back? Please remember, your feet have direct biomechanical impact on the rest of your body and support you with each step. A minor abnormality in foot function can have a large impact on joints higher up in the body, causing back pain, neck pain and even headaches.

When running, you can impact your feet, knees, hips and back with up to three to four times your body weight. The American Podiatric Medical Association says that the average person takes 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day. That adds up to about 185,000 kilometers in a lifetime!! That equals more than four times the circumference of the globe. No wonder you can get a sore back when walking!!

Third:

We have unique digital posturography test.

This involves placing you in front of a spinal grid. The grid allows the chiropractor to quickly determine any other hidden postural problems that other tests could miss.

Fourth:

Our next test is our structural x-ray analysis. This innovative x-ray analysis differs from standard 'medical' x-rays in that we first ensure your x-rays are taken while you are standing in your normal (or abnormal) posture.

Second we analyze them differently than standard medical x-rays. As corrective chiropractors, we use mathematic and physics calculations to determine your alignment.

Finally we analyze your xrays for subluxation degeneration to determine how long chiropractic correction will take.

Finally:

We will perform a thermal imaging. This 2 minute test can change your life. This scanner quickly and accurately assesses for any temperature asymmetry which can be an indication of abnormal nervous system function.

What happens after my Chiropractic examination?

Once we finish all the above, we will carefully need to analyze the information, so we will bring you back for a 2nd day to explain your findings. We will also go through our recommendations for you and our charges.

How long will this take?

Please allow 45 minutes for your first appointment with us and up to 90 minutes for the explanation appointment.

How much does all this cost?

The above chiropractic examination including all the tests and the 2nd explanation appointment costs over $250.00. As an introductory offer this month, you can book online and save $190.00. You will get the entire chiropractic examination for just $40.00*. Plus you will get to keep your x-rays and print outs of your thermography and computerized gait scans.
